“ Wir warten heute das erste Mal im Mama essen und waren begeistert. Das Essen ist qualitativ sehr gut. Wir haben eine Vorspeise, ein Vietnamesisches Gericht und Sushi getestet. Alles war sehr frisch, schmackhaft und dekorativ zubereitet bzw. angerichtet. Scharfe Gerichte sind auf der Karte allerdings nicht zu finden. Das Restaurant ist eine Bereicherung für Herford. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. ”
“ Heute bin ich rein zufällig über die Eröffnung von Mama in Herford (Am Gänsemarkt) gestolpert. Von außen hätte ich nicht gedacht, dass es sich um ein asiatisches Restaurant handelt. Doch sobald man eintritt, wird man von einer warmen und einladenden Atmosphäre umhüllt und fühlt sich sofort wie im Urlaub. Zur Eröffnung gab es direkt einen Willkommenssnack und die Speisekarte bietet authentische vietnamesische Küche und japanische Fusion mit Sushi sowie vielen vegetarischen Optionen. Der Service war ausgezeichnet und das Essen kam sehr schnell. Besonders empfehlen kann ich die hausgemachten Limonaden, die nicht zu süß sind. Die Vorspeise war lecker, wobei die Saucen/Dips nicht ganz meinen Geschmack trafen und etwas fade waren. Doch die Sommerrollen mit Shrimps waren perfekt. Der Hauptgang kam mit Trockeneis - ein cooler Effekt. Ich habe das Blackdragon Sushi mit extra Sake/Lachs Nigiri gewählt. Zum Abschluss gab es für mich noch einen vietnamesischen Eiskaffee, der wirklich reinhaut – also nichts für Kaffeeanfänger. Mein erster Eindruck war hervorragend und ich kann es kaum erwarten, die anderen Gerichte zu probieren. Bei Mama schmeckt es halt am besten, bekommt hier in Herford eine ganz neue Bedeutung und braucht sich auch nicht zu verstecken. Eine tolle Location, die mich fast nicht gehen lassen wollte und nach fast 3 Stunden musste ich mich verabschieden. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder und bedanke mich beim sehr freundlichen Mama-Team. Ich wünsche euch noch viel Erfolg und bleibt bitte so hervorragend. Update: Die warmen Gerichte mit Reis und Ente kann ich nur empfehlen!!! ”
“ Ich habe schon viele Sushi-Restaurants ausprobiert, aber dieses gehört definitiv zu den besten im Umkreis von Bielefeld! Die Sushi waren frisch, wunderschön angerichtet und geschmacklich einfach nur WOW. Das Ambiente ist einladend, vllt. einwenig kitschig, aber ich liebe es. Auch der Service war super aufmerksam und freundlich. Hier passt wirklich alles! ”
